Dishonorable, Disgraceful, Deplorable

Join the military, defend our country, it’s people, it’s constitution and follow the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), the law of the military.

When a person signs that paper, stands and pledges, give the oath, they are part of the military. A military based on volunteers, not forced, not required, volunteers making a choice of their own FREE will to defend our country and at the same time, agreeing to follow the UCMJ or be punished accordingly.

Two Navy personnel have now disrespected and ignored the oath they willingly made when joining the military. They have chosen to dishonor, disrespect and disgrace the United States of America, and to go against their oath, their promise.  Young, naïve or old and wise, it does not matter, these two Navy personnel broke their oath, they broke military law.

Why did they enlist?  Was it in their hearts to defend the United States, the constitution, and it’s people?  Or was just for the college money?  In either case, these two Navy personnel agreed to follow the UCMJ.  They did not follow the rules, “the law” of the military.

As with any “job” there are rules listed in the employee handbook you must follow.  If you choose to ignore the rules and requirements of your employer, an employer you choose to work for, you can be fired.  Are you allowed to bring your politics into the work place? Stage a protest? No you are not. If you do, you have placed yourself at the mercy of your employer, you must/should stand up for your choice and take whatever punishment is dealt to you.

Ms. Ervin, you broke a promise, your oath, you broke the trust that was bestowed upon you and you broke military law (UCMJ).  It is only right you loose your security clearance and any privileges the military has afforded you. Do not dare to whine and cry because you lost your security clearance, it is your fault. Be an adult and own what you did. You are smart enough to know what you did and the consequences that may result, do not continue to play for public support from those that do not understand or know what it is like to be put in the position you were placed in as an Intelligent Specialist.

If you cannot be trusted to obey military law, how can you be trusted with military secrets?  How can you be trusted to not follow protocols or orders if you don’t like them or if you disagree with them.

Ms. Ervin, you are not fit for duty, you are a disgrace to your uniform.

Ms. Ervin, you and the other sailor who refused to stand for the flag or anthem, need to be dishonorably discharged, immediately. I am disgusted you represent our United States Navy.

The uniform you wear and the military branch you are part of, is not an appropriate platform for your protests.

ISIS, US Border, Americans

Let’s go back in time shall we?  Build a wall on the southern border of the United States.  People were up in arms.  Most of the people against the building the wall were not and are not now, living in a border state let alone right on the US – Mexico border.

Yet with their infinite wisdom, ill informed “facts”, and mightier than thou attitudes, these people and all their stopped closing down the border.  No one ever intended for the border to be complete closed, incurring self isolation.  Closing the border was to help eliminate, curtail the entrance of unauthorized crossings not at stationed border crossings. 

My opinion then and is the same today, we have Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy and National Guard to protect us; put them on the border.  Protect us.

With all the side stepping, false information, twisted facts and partial truths, there has not been a push or urgency to provide adequate  protection or enforcement stopping people from crossing the border illegally.  Now time is of the urgency.  ISIS has communicate via social networks, it is a good time to use the southwest border of the US to enter the country unnoticed.

It’s not to late to push a plan and execute the plan to protect our country!

Removing Bibles?

So it has been reported and confirmed, the United States Navy Exchange Command has removed the bibles from the Navy Lodge.  That’s right, next time you are there, do not expect to open that night stand and see the Good Book.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) filed a complaint with the Navy Exchange regarding bibles in the lodging facilities.  As it has in the past the FFRF are trying to bully their views on other people, organizations, companies, and government agencies or affiliations.  Unfortunately, the Navy Exchange Command made a decision to remove the Bible from the Navy Lodge rooms.

We have seen on the news of late, one instant and another of Christians being persecuted throughout the world.  In Iraq, Christian women and children on a hillside surrounded by religious persecutors;  Iran is holding hundreds of Christians in jails for the only reason these people are Christians.  Where is the FFRF in these instants?  Obviously not yelling and screaming for religious or anti-religious reasons but how about for reasons of humanity.  Yet, if it was non-believers or devout atheists, they would be yelling and screaming, begging for help to rescue these individuals.  Why not now?  Because, the FFRF is performing a type of religious persecuting here in the United States as other religions are doing around the world.

Gideons International provided – donated copies of the Bible to the Navy Exchange to be put in the lodging facilities.  Gideon International also provides the Bible to schools and to hotels free of charge.  The Navy Exchange did not pay for these Books.  If other organizations provided – donated the Koran, the Book of Mormon, the Tipitaka or any other religion’s sacred book, I am sure most if not all hotels, schools and military establishments would offer the books the same as they do for the Holy Bible.

FFRF is against all religious books?  When why have they not gone after the removal of all religious books, texts and symbols as they have done against Christians?

I hope not only do all Christians, but all religious people call the United States Navy Exchange and file a complaint about the removal of the Holy Bible from their lodging facilities.  It won’t stop with just the Christian; the persecution will continue until atheism becomes the bases for the only religion allowed to exist without persecution.

Stand up for your rights, stand up for other’s rights, just because you may not agree with their religion, you at least should be protecting the right called: Freedom of Religion.

Whoopi, Just The Facts Mama’

Why is it when someone has nothing to support their opinion and are NOT willing to listen to facts, they make up “facts” by saying only half truths or taking a subject and modifying to fit their opinion?
I am so tired of hearing just the half truths or only enough of the “facts” so that someone can use them to insinuate the facts stand for something they really don’t. It’s annoying, it’s the same as lying because the people knowingly do this and try to pass it off as “true fact”.
Are you really that insecure of your opinion and lack of knowledge that you have to lie? Some politicians do it all the time.  Especially when the concerns an incumbent. Are they really that afraid of their challenger?
Worse, are the people these lies are being spoke to really that ignorant they can not read between the lines or at the very least can not look up the facts so they can be educated on a particular topic?
Worse yet, people in the public eye or in a position to reach millions of viewers/listeners knowingly twist the facts to make it appear that the person in questions is or was up to no good.
Mr. Romney used his religion as a reason not to be drafted, yet he supports a strong military.  Sounds bad right?  Mr. Romney was doing his 2 – 2 1/2 years of mission service required by his religion.  What he was doing was providing assistance to people in France at a time of high turmoil.  These people were not just French but also Americans and people from other countries that got caught in the middle of all the unrest.
Why are these politicians not being held accountable? I’m not saying it’s every politician or that politicians are the only ones’ that do this, because they are not.
Dear ole, sweet Whoopi is a perfect example.  What is her secret agenda? Why would she purposely ask Mrs. Romney questions that she, Whoopi knew were incorrect?  Is this JUST the way some people are so they can twist known facts to fit their mold?  Is this so they can convince people the opposition is not fit for whatever position they are running for?  This is not the first time Whoopi has done this.  This is not the first time it has been heard of.  What is so bad, (and they know people will bite on to it), people fall for this as fact.  All Whoopi is did was to try to start a teenage drama she said, he said, immature, disrespectful, face slapping lies.
Grow up Whoopi!  Stop telling have truths.  Stop using your position to spread rumors, innuendos, and twisted facts.  For once, tell the facts, all of the facts.  Then give your opinion.  The question should have been, “Was it right for Mr. Romney to stay in France preforming his religious requirements or should he have come home and served in the military?” Mr. Romney did the same as many Americans did…. they helped the world be a better place.
Now, what about the people that joined the Peace Corps or other government recognized foundations to avoid the draft?  What about the people that joined the Peace Corps before the draft and were excused from serving because they were already serving the global community?  Should they have been forced to leave the Peace Corps to serve in the military?  Why is Whoopi not making issue with these people?  Some of these people did/have become politicians.

Usama Bin Laden, Hate Me

So the world is whirling with the news concerning the death of Usama Bin Laden.  Dancing in the streets, singing the National Anthem, yelling and chanting “USA,USA”.  But is it right?

Should we the people have killed him?  “WE”  Yes, I mean we, for we all have had at the very least a minute or two of joy and relief in our hearts upon hearing the news this tyrant was put down.  We have supported, at one time or another, for one reason or another, the extreme solution to a extreme problem.

But as Christians is it right?  I will not jump for joy or dance in the streets over the death of a person… any person no matter how evil, corrupt out to kill us… Christians, Catholics, or any other religious believers or non-believers.  Us meaning Americans, British, Africans, Spaniards, or any other nationality or countries citizens.

Am I glad that Bin Laden is dead?  God forgive me, yes I am.  But I will not jump for joy or dance in the streets.

Am I proud of our military, intelligence agencies and all of the other people that support, pray for and assist these people? Yes I am.  But I will not rejoice with songs for the death of this man.

Did our President finally step up and take action? Yes and I am proud that he did.  What President Obama authorized was what a real president of the USA would do in this case.  President Obama stood up and did what was right even if it meant bad feelings with Arab countries.

The killing of Osama Bin Laden was a necessary evil.  This does not finish the problem, but it does solve a portion of it.  This solution does show that the USA will not give up or stand down with there is a threat against US or our FRIENDS.

President Obama, there is a terrorist threat.  There is terrorism and it is nice to see that your administration is using that word again.  The killing of Osama Bin Laden is just the beginning of solving a problem, so keep solving the problem, don’t stop and don’t slow down.  Don’t pretend “terrorism or terrorist” is not a word or does not relate to a problem our country has and has had for many years.

And people, do not dance in the street celebrating the death of a person.

Critical Thinking…Just Think

Part of the problem with todays society is that fact that younger generations are being taught not to think for themselves or to take everything they see and hear as fact.

This problem is increased with the inclusion of the opinions of teachers; instead of teaching the facts, they are allowed to include or teach what is really the teacher’s opinion, not fact, but their interpretation or political view.

With this mentality also comes the mind set of those thinking everyone and everything is owed to them; there is no reason for them to do anything themselves even rely on themselves. Taking responsibility is definitely out of the question, it is always someone else’s fault, but that’s okay, the non-thinking generations are thinking less and less each day. These non-thinkers will be taken care of, that’s what has happened to them in the past and will happen to them in the future…or so they think.

The non-thinkers will always get their way and if they don’t it is the other person’s fault. Non-thinkers are always an easy target for slight of hand speeches, the speak around, and double talk. If they are promised the world, they are all for it, especially if they don’t have to do anything for.

“I’m voting for Obama, he’s going to pay my rent”. This is a prime example of what the non-thinkers think of and wait for in life. Someone else will take care of me. These are also the same people that believe they should have the same thing you have. You get up each morning and go to work… five days a week. At some point you are able to buy that vehicle you always wanted. You work hard for everything you have in your life.

Non-thinkers would believe that since you have one, it’s not fair they don’t and they should get yours or have other buy one for them.

Non-thinkers are a socialist dream come true. Rhetoric will spew from their mouths and the non-thinkers will lap it up as if it was truth, fact and gospel. If it benefits them, the non-thinkers know for a fact that is the way it is.

Stop being a non-thinker and start thinking for yourself. Once you have accomplished the thinking aspect of this, start being a critical thinker, analyze everything, research everything, look for the documented proof. Then think some more as you open your eyes and mind to the real world around you.

The Fall of Egypt

The fall of Egypt is not the end of the trend for countries to turn against current government. People around the world are standing up for what they believe is their rights. Poor government is not an excuse for citizens to suffer. Poor government is the reason to stand up and demand changes.

We are fortunate here in the USA that if our government is not providing appropriate services for the citizens there is a way to change government. In 2010 we saw a drastic change in government by our voters. Now it is up to the new Congress to make changes "we the people" have asked for, demand and declared "ENOUGH!".

Not all countries, in fact most countries can not vote/demand change and force the government to attempt change.  In most countries demanding change often results in violence and uprising most commonly squashed by their current government.

By demanding change and requesting a say in government offices and government actions, isn't this part of what democracy is about?

Demand change!  Get active, vote for who you believe will do best, not based on political party.  Make your vote count.
